At some point in our lives most of us have watched live bands or music videos on TV and dreamed of becoming a rock star. I know I have, so you can probably imagine how excited I was a couple of weeks ago when 3 guitar shaped boxes were delivered to Paul Fraser Collectibles.
The guitars (as you may have seen in our store already) are signed by the Rolling Stones, U2 and The Libertines. As a (terrible) guitar player and (hopefully not so terrible) music-lover myself, I found I was somewhat nervous handling guitars that have been handled by the likes of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Bono and Pete Doherty.

But guitars are not just exciting, personal pieces of music memorabilia. Notable models and those with a connection to major celebrities hold great investment potential.
For example, a black Fender Telecaster owned by Johnny Cash sold for $72,100 last year and Bo Diddley’s last ever stage-used guitar sold for $60,000 back in 2009. In fact, auctions featuring celebrity guitars (as well as notable, vintage guitars) are becoming increasingly popular with guitars fetching higher prices than ever.
So whose guitars would you like to get your hands on?
